HOT ROLLING METHOD OF MO-CONTAINING AUSTENITE STAINLESS STEEL SLAB

PURPOSE: A hot rolling method of Mo-containing austenite stainless steel slab is provided to prevent microcrack and residual stress form developing into inner crack during grinding and reheating operations. CONSTITUTION: In a hot rolling method of Mo-containing austenite stainless steel slab, the present invention comprises the steps of air cooling Mo-containing austenite stainless steel slab after casting; warm grinding the surface the Mo-containing austenite stainless steel slab by using 30 mesh wheel at higher than 100°C; removing impurities from ground slab surface by high pressure spray or roller brush; and hot rolling the slab in a furnace.
