PURPOSE: An apparatus for removing a non-trimming part is provided to prevent damage of a grinding belt and rolls inside a grinding cabin, thereby extend life cycle of the grinding belt and rolls by removing the non-trimming part before the non-trimming part goes into the grinding cabin. CONSTITUTION: In a strip grinding facility, the apparatus for removing a non-trimming part comprises a traveling base(12) which is installed on rails so that it moves on the rails; a forward and backward cylinder(14) installed on the ground to move the traveling base(12); a rotation base(16) rotationally installed on the traveling base(12); an ascent and descent cylinder(18) one end of which is connected to one side of the rotation base(16), and the other end of which is connected to the traveling base(12) so that the ascent and descent cylinder(18) rotates the rotation base(16); a motor holder(20) which is rotationally installed at the upper part of the rotation base(16); an open-and-shut cylinder(22) one end of which is connected to the rotation base(16), and the other end of which is connected to the motor holder(20) so that the open-and-shut cylinder(22) rotates the motor holder(20), a motor(24) fixed to the motor holder(20); an upper irregular roll(26) which is rotated by the motor(24) and installed to press the strip; and a lower irregular roll(28) which is projected from the rotation base(16) so that it corresponds to the upper irregular roll(26), wherein the apparatus further comprises a guiding guide(30) which is installed at the traveling base(12) to guide the non-trimming part of the strip removed from the irregular rolls(26,28).
