PURPOSE: A method for the improvement of steel cleanness in ultra low carbon steel is provided to save incidental expenses in secondary refining process of ultra low carbon steel. CONSTITUTION: In a method for improving steel cleanness in ultra low carbon steel where before continuous casting process, partially decarburized steel(M) in converter is tapped into a ladle(100) equipped with a vertical pipe(110) and then it is further decarburized to target carbon content, the present invention is characterized in that a lance(10) is inserted into molten steel slantly with spaced apart from the bottom of the vertical pipe and through the lance Ar gas is injected at 30 to 70kg/min, together with flux(20).
