PURPOSE: A braking method of a parking brake apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent the vehicle from rolling back on an incline road by generating braking force automatically in restarting after parking or stopping on an uphill road or a downhill road, and to prevent accidents by relieving fatigue of a driver. CONSTITUTION: An electronic control unit detects a vehicle on an inclined road in starting the vehicle on an uphill road or a downhill road, and transmits a control signal to a first relay to connect circuits partially between a hydraulic pump to a power supply member(21,22). Circuits are connected partially with transmitting the control signal to a second relay in releasing an accelerator pedal(23,24), and connected completely by transmitting the control signal to a third relay in stopping the vehicle(25,26). The hydraulic pump is driven in supplying power to the hydraulic pump, and brake oil is supplied to a hydraulic cylinder with opening a solenoid valve(27,28). A piston is moved into a cylinder in supplying brake oil to the cylinder member, and braking force is generated with pulling a parking brake cable(29,31). The quality is improved, and fatigue is reduced with preventing the vehicle from rolling back in starting the vehicle on the uphill road or the downhill road.
