The kitchen sink has a front wall (4) of the basin, towards the user, pitched at an acute angle to the bottom (1) of the sink so that, at the transit from the base, the front wall is aligned at an upwards angle of 20 deg . The front wall has two sections, at different upward angles from the base, to form a well to contain the water and an angled surface upwards from the water level.
