PURPOSE: A laser pointer having a mouse function is provided to have the page up/down function of a computer mouse or the remote controller of a projector while using a laser pointer. CONSTITUTION: The laser pointer system comprises a laser pointer(100) as a transmitting unit and an adapter as a receiving unit. The laser pointer has a laser pointing unit(101) and an RF(Radio Frequency) transmitting unit(103). The laser pointing unit includes a laser hole(105) to guide the laser beam emitted from a laser oscillating unit by a laser pointing button(107), the page up/down buttons(109,115) to move up/down a page corresponding to the contents displayed by an application program for a presentation, and general buttons(111, 117, 113) to perform the function of a general mouse. The RF transmitting unit transmits the mouse signals inputted from the laser pointing unit by converting and modulating. An encoder and an RF transmitting module are included. |
