PURPOSE: A device for receiving the metainformation, a system and a method for providing a service through the metainformation are provided to make a radio portal site easily know the inclination and connection path of a user by proving the information and parameter of the metainformation extracting from the radio broadcasting and the user information selectively provided from the user to an external connecter. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a tuning and demodulating part(22) tuning and demodulating a broadcasting signal, a data decoder(24) decoding the additional information relating to the contents extracted from the tuning and demodulating part, a base station(26) displaying the additional information relating to the contents and selectively outputting the additional information and the user information previously stored by the user to the external connector and/or mobile unit according to the user's selection. The base station includes an external communication connector capable of communicating with the external connector and/or mobile unit, a user input part providing a user's command, a display and a control module.
