A process for resinating and then applying a tube (11) inside a pipe (12), comprises using a tube turning unit (1). The free end of the tube is fixed to the turning unit so it is sealed, and when a pressurising medium is applied to the unit, the tube is inverted and moved into the pipe. The tube is wound off a drum (8) and fed into the pipe via the turning unit. The area where the tube enters the unit is hermetically sealed. Resination takes place after the tube has been wound off the drum, by opening the tube and applying the resin from a mixing station (7). The resin is distributed inside the tube using a pair of opposing rollers.
