PURPOSE: An apparatus for interfacing an MIP(Managed Intelligent Platform) and a TP(Transport Platform) in an asynchronous CDMA system is provided to implement a system initialization function in a UMTS(Universal Mobile Telecommunication System) system divided into an MIP and a TP. CONSTITUTION: A UMTS system is divided into an MIP(10) and a TP(20). The MIP(10) comprises an MIP processor(12). The MIP processor(12) comprises an MIP application software(14) and an RP(Resource Peer framework)(16). The TP(20) comprises a TP main processor(22). The TP main processor(22) comprises a TP application software(24). The UMTS system includes various interfaces(30) to transport data between the MIP(10) and the TP(20). In the case of transferring data from the MIP(10) to the TP(20), an interface for image version information requests, an interface for loading image information transfers and an interface for image upgrade instructions are provided. In the case of transferring data from the TP(20) to the MIP(10), an interface for image version information reports, an interface for loading image information requests and an interface for image loading state reports are provided.
