PURPOSE: To provide a fodder-conveying apparatus capable of preventing a disk cable from being easily deviated from a driving sprocket, hardly causing the breaking of the disk cable by fatigue in a short time, and hardly allowing the returned fodder S to obstruct the action of the driving sprocket or the like. CONSTITUTION: A cable-introducing opening 13 is formed at the upper end part of a sidewall part 9b, and a cable-deriving opening 14 is formed at the lower end part of the sidewall part 9c. The driving sprocket 10 is arranged at the upper part of one side in a housing 9, and a freely moving pulley 11 is arranged at the lower part of the other side on nearly the same plane as the driving sprocket 10 so as to be freely moved. A weight 36 for imparting tractive force to the freely moving pulley 11 is also installed. A fodder-guiding member 21 having a dropping frame-like part 23 hung between the driving sprocket 10 and the freely moving pulley 11 and connected thereto is arranged at a guiding cylindrical part 22 extending from the cable-introducing opening 13. A driving device 4 having the above constituent members is arranged in the objective fodder-conveying apparatus 1.
