<p>A parting agent for an isocyanate wood binder comprises the reaction product of an isocyanate compound and an isocyanate-reactive compound of the general structure<BR> <BR> R-(ao)<SB>n</SB>-Y<BR> <BR> where R is a hydrophobic group containing higher alkyl, alkaryl, polyaryl or siloxane moieties; (ao) is a C<SB>2</SB>-C<SB>4</SB> alkylene oxide or mixture of C<SB>2</SB>-C<SB>4</SB> alkylene oxides such as ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, butylene oxide and mixtures thereof; n is about 1 to about 25; and Y represents a monofunctional isocyanate-reactive group.</p> |
