The method consists of projecting onto the surface of a vitreous material (6), by means of a pressurized gas (17), particles of a hard material able to form protuberances in the surface which give it a satin appearance. The edges of the protuberances are taken off by an additional projection of particles with a lower hardness than the first. An independent claim is included for a machine providing a satin finish. |
