PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer recording medium capable of completely imparting durability of an image by forming the image on a material to be transferred by using the medium and forming a protective layer on the image and fusion bonding a thermal transfer sheet to the medium or satisfactorily forming an image on the material to be transferred. SOLUTION: The intermediate transfer recording medium comprises a sheet base provided with a resin layer and a transparent sheet provided with the acceptive layer and laminated on the base so that the resin layer is separated from the transparent sheet and the sheet with the acceptive layer is transferred to the material to be transferred. As the resin layer, a hydrosilylated silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive is used for the resin layer to complete a curing reaction of the resin layer at a low temperature for a short time. Thus, an aging change of a release force between the resin layer and the sheet can be eliminated. Even when the resin layer is exposed on a surface, a fusion bonding to the thermal transfer sheet can be prevented. When the image is transferred to the material to be transferred, the sheet base can be stably released from the medium.
