METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING BLOOD PRESSURE IN ARTIFICIAL DIALYSIS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously monitor the maximal blood pressure of a dialysis patient while preventing contamination of blood. SOLUTION: The allowable variation range of the maximal blood pressure predetermined for the patient 1 is set in a processing computer 6 for monitoring. The computer 6 computes a maximal blood pressure value according to a deformation signal obtained by measuring the deformation quantity of a tube 2 midway along the tube 2 for transferring the blood to a dialyzer 4, monitors the presence or absence of the maximal blood pressure value within the allowable variation range, and outputs a warning signal on condition that the maximal blood pressure value is outside the allowable variation range during dialysis.
