<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple pedal shift control structure of a vehicle capable of suppressing the backing of the pedal in a forward collision of the vehicle. SOLUTION: In the pedal shift control structure, an arm member 19 extending obliquely and downwardly toward the tip of a pedal bracket is fixed to a deck cross member 7 on the backward upside of a dash panel 3 suspending a brake pedal 2 via the pedal bracket 11, the tip of the pedal bracket is provided with a receiving part 18, the tip of the arm member is provided with a notch 21 spaced from the receiving part, and a structure for securing assembling accuracy similar to a structure for pressing down the brake pedal is not required. In the forward collision of the vehicle, the arm member is downwardly bent using the intermeshing of the end of the pedal bracket and the end of the arm member, and the backing of the brake pedal is suppressed in a behavior of directing to the front side of the vehicle using the base part of the pedal bracket as a furculum.</p> |
