PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a surface where a transmission surface is formed. SOLUTION: A steering device for a rice transplanter interlocks a right and a left steering jaw clutch 10 interposed in respective transmission device to a right and a left driving rear wheel with a steering wheel so that the inner one in a turn out of the jaw clutches 10 is reversibly disengaged as the steering wheel is operated for steering to the right or left over a set angle or larger from the straight-ahead attitude. The transmission surface 34 of the jaw clutches 10 is formed in a radial surface.
