摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an equipment capable of effectively removing dioxins contained in a wastewater of a waste incineration plant. SOLUTION: A wastewater to be treated is controlled at pH 7 to 10, activated carbon is then added to the wastewater, allowing the activated carbon to adsorb dioxins in the wastewater, and a coagulant and a coagulant aid are finally added to the wastewater to form a coagulated floc, the activated carbon which has adsorbed dioxins and the coagulated floc are allowed to sediment and a deposit is removed from the wastewater. The equipment removing dioxins in the wastewater of the waste incineration plant is provided with a pH controlling tank controlling the wastewater to be treated at pH 7 to 10, an activated carbon adsorption tank which is disposed at a rear step of the pH controlling tank and which allows the added activated carbon to adsorb dioxins in the wastewater, a coagulation tank which is disposed at a rear step of the activated carbon adsorption tank and performs a coagulation treatment of the wastewater, thereby allowing the coagulated floc to be formed, a sedimentation tank where both the activated carbon which has adsorbed dioxins and the coagulated floc are allowed to sediment, and a filter which removes the deposit from the wastewater.
