PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent looseness between inner tooth members 11 and 12 and an outer tooth member 13, in a reclining device for steplessly adjusting an inclination angle of a seat lock 24 by rotating the outer tooth member 13 by rotation of an eccentric cam 15 and rotating the upper-side inner tooth member 12 by a difference in the number of teeth between the inner tooth members 11 and 12. SOLUTION: Wedge members 17a and 17b which constitute a looseness preventing mechanism are cut in between the first eccentric cam 15 and a second eccentric cam 16 by the energizing force of a spring member 17c. The first eccentric cam 15 is press-moved to press-move the outer tooth member 13 supported by the first eccentric cam 15 toward the inner tooth member 11 and 12 side to allow part of the outer tooth member 13 to surely engage with part of both of the inner tooth members 11 and 12, preventing the looseness between the inner tooth members 11 and 12 and the outer tooth member 13.
