PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a problem such that an application liquid adheres to hair which does not need to dye when hair (white hair) which needs dyeing is sparse due to the adoption of a method, wherein the application liquid is discharged between the teeth of a comb of a comb-shaped application body and applied to the large range of the hair, in a conventional art. SOLUTION: This applicator has a structure where the application body provided at the edge of an applicator body is made large enough to hold only one hair therebetween for the purpose of enabling the application liquid to be applied to the only one hair, and the application liquid can be applied while being moved in the direction of the fiber of the hair with the hair held therebetween.
