PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird-preventing net capable of simply carrying out installation of the net by individual and constituted so as to enable free change of size according to size of opening of veranda and enable simple opening and closing. SOLUTION: A pipe is installed in the upper stage of veranda, etc., of a house and a wire is installed in the lower stage and a net is provided in a tensioned state between a slidable hanging tool and a slidable fixing tool so as to laterally be openable. Particularly, the bird-preventing net is composed of a pair of standing poles 1 made and length adjustable by fitting pipes having different pipe diameters, a lead pipe 5 made the length adjustable by fitting pipes having different pie diameters and installed between upper ends of the standing poles 1, a lead wire 9 installed between the lower ends of the standing poles 1, pipe rings 8 having net hooks 7 at the ends and inserting into the lead pipe 5, wire rings 10 inserting into the lead wire 9 and the net installed between these net hooks 7 and these wire rings 10.
