PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bath device with safety function which achieves safety in bathing and guards against a bath tab or the damage of carrier when a person takes a bath. SOLUTION: To provide with a bath tab (3) for storing hot water and a carrier (5) to make a loading part (4) for loading a person who takes a bath put into the bath tab (3) and in bathing device (1) for taking a bath by going up and down either the bath tab (3) or the loading part (4) at least to set an up and down position sensor (6) or an up and down control part (54) to be operated by a detect signal of the sensor (6) at the side of an up and down device and when the up and down part material to deal with the device of the up and down side reaches a prescribed position or distance, the up and down part material stops automatically and then makes it possible to take a bath at prescribed position and also do a bathing operation safely.
