PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recording apparatus capable of easily providing an execution command in the case of executing the same function continuously, in the case of executing two kinds of functions alternately, or the like. SOLUTION: In an ink-jet recording apparatus 101 comprising a calculation- control means 102 for executing various kinds of calculations and controls, various kinds of information memory units (ROM 103, RAM 104), and a two-way communication interface 105 for inputting or outputting information with respect to a host computer 110, a key inputting part 106 for commanding execution of a plurality of functions, a key input judging means 107 for judging a function to be executed based on the key operation in the key inputting part 106, and an execution record memory means (RAM 104) for successively storing the functions commanded by the key inputting part 106, are provided.
