PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of decomposition power in a garbage disposal system due to the drying of a microorganismic medium. SOLUTION: A charging inlet and a water spraying system are installed in a processing tank 2 wherein garbage and the microorganismic medium are stirred and mixed. In the garbage disposal system which operates the water spraying system in relation to garbage charging, a detector for garbage charging is installed in the processing tank 2, and when garbage charging is not detected by this detector even after a prescribed time has passed, a water spraying control device which operates the water spraying system to spray water for a preset time is operated.
