PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf practice mat which is excellent in durability by preventing its pile warp yarns from falling out. SOLUTION: As for a golf practice mat 1, wefts 3 and base warps 2 are woven to make a base texture, into which pile warps 5 are woven in the same direction as warps 2 (direction of an arrow A). A cross sectional profile of the pile warp 5 seen from the section of the wefts 3 is W-shaped with its ends 9, 9 raised up from the texture 4 and its midsection forming a pile-loop part 10. By weaving a plurality of the pile warps 5 in a row into the texture 4, a pile-raised part 11 composed of the pile-ends 9,9, the adjacent warp 5's, and the pile-loop part 10 are placed alternately in the direction of the base warp 2. Of the pile warp 5, the upper ends of the pile-raised part 11 are higher than the top of the pile-loop part 10.
