<p>In a common residential garage door operator, the movement of the garage doo r to the open or closed position is initiated when a button is pressed on either the wall- mounted switch or the remote transmitter. In this invention a device is connected in parallel with the wa ll- mounted switch terminals on the garage door operator. The device consists of two timing relays, a lever switch, bell wire, electrical wire, a device on/off switch, an on/off indicator light, a siren, and a revolving strobe light. This device provides a safe means of automatically closing the garage door when it has been inadvertently left in the open position. By closing the door, the security o f the home and the safety of the residents are maintained.</p> |
