<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boarding device for a train having a simple structure, capable of being inexpensively manufactured and easily installed to an existing train. SOLUTION: A movable frame 5 reciprocating with a direct acting driving means 4 is mounted in the under floor part of an entrance 2 of the train. A crossing plate 8 comprising a boarding plate body 6 moving between a position where it projects from the under floor part toward the outside of the train and a position where it returns into the under floor part and an abutting plate part 7 downwardly connected to the rear end of the boarding plate body 6 is journalled to the movable frame 5 vertically oscillatably about a journaling shaft 9. An abutting bar 10 is provided so that the boarding plate body 6 is normally held horizontally, and in reciprocating of the movable frame 5 the boarding plate body 6 abuts on an abutting plate part 7 slightly short of the position where the boarding plate body 6 projects forward at the maximum and is tilted from the horizontal attitude downwardly about the journaling shaft 9 due to an abutting reaction force.</p> |
