PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for packing a frozen and chilled food, capable of heating the food into the inside, and further capable of making surfaces of the food crispy and have burnt marks, when the frozen and chilled food is microwaved. SOLUTION: This method for packing the frozen and chilled food comprises as follows: a heating medium is formed by applying a microwave heating layer to one of both the surfaces of a base film to form a microwave heating film and then adhering a support material to the microwave heating layer side of the formed microwave heating film; steam discharge openings are formed on the heating medium; and the base film side of the heating medium is made to come into contact with the food, so that the top, bottom, and side surfaces of the food are wrapped with the heating medium and some parts of the heating medium are made to be overlapped, when the food is packed. An area occupied by the overlapped parts of the heating medium preferably corresponds to 10-65% of all the areas where the heating medium is made to come into contact with the food. Further, an area occupied by the steam discharge openings which are formed on the heating medium preferably corresponds to 10-50% of the total area of the heating medium. |
