摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for measuring sound velocity in tissue using an ultrasonic histological evaluation device whose composition and measurement operability are made simpler. SOLUTION: The subject inserted in an inserting portion 20 of the subject is held between ultrasonic vibrators 11a and 11b whose distance is established and a pair of vibration units 10a and 10b whose distance of contacts 12a and 12b is made flexible finds the distance between respective sound vibrators 11a and 11b and the contacts 12a and 12b by the pulse echo method before the width of the subject and the ultrasonic sound velocity that passes through the subject are measured by the ultrasonic histological evaluation device 1a or 1b. The ultrasonic sound velocity that propagates through the sound adjusting member 14a or 14b is determined at each time of measurement, for which the measurement values thus obtained are used for calculation.
