<p>A device for sensing unauthorized use of an electronic security device, the device comprising a host device and a port detector. The host device comprises a housing having a port formed therein, the port is configured to receive the electronic security device. In one embodiment, a port detector is located proximate to said port for sensing radiation emitted from unauthorized use of the electronic security device. In an alternate embodiment, the dielectric constant of the electronic security device is measured and compared to a predetermined value.</p> |
