PURPOSE: An apparatus for rejecting an unpressed light weight coil of coil car is provided in which it is not necessary for an operator to go out to a working site so as to do bending operation directly. CONSTITUTION: In a coil car(80) for moving a coil, the apparatus for rejecting an unpressed light weight coil of coil car comprises a first plate(22) which is hinge connected to the front of the coil car so that the first plate(22) is put on with being parallel to the side of the coil car(80) when the first plate(22) is rotated; first cylinders(28) which are connected to between the front lower part of the coil car and the first plate(22) so as to rotate the first plate(22); a second plate(24) which is hinge connected to the first plate(22) so that the second plate(24) is put on with being parallel to the upper part of the coil car(80) when the second plate(24) is rotated; a second cylinder(30) which is connected to between the first plate(22) and the second plate(24) so as to rotate the second plate(24); and a plate skid(26) which is mounted on the second plate(24) with the plate skid(26) being directed to the coil car(80).
