An air conditioner is provided to optimize the height of a turbo fan for increasing a wind flow rate while reducing noise. An air conditioner includes a case(120) mounted in a ceiling, and a turbo fan(150) installed in the case and equipped with a plurality of blades(152), wherein the height(a) of the case, the height(b) of the turbo fan and the height(c) of the blades satisfy the following formulas in order to achieve an optimum wind volume and low noise: 0.5<=b/a<=0.6 and 0.65<=c/b<=0.75. |
