PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means to offer uniform and yet delicate oral sound services to a subject in relation to an X-ray CT apparatus. SOLUTION: The X-ray CT apparatus has a scanning gantry portion 30 that scans a subject 100 with X-rays, the apparatus body including a photographing table 20 that conveys the subject 100 to the scanning gantry portion 30 and a remote processing console portion 10 to be operated by a technician, whereas a control portion 11 that controls scan-reading of the subject in accordance with a scanning plan information set up by the processing console portion 10 and a sound generating portion 80 that outputs a prescribed sound message from the side of the apparatus body under the control of the control portion 11 are provided, while the above control portion 11 generates a corresponding oral sound message from the oral sound generating portion 80 to control a movement of the photographing table 20 or an initiation of tilt (an event) of the scanning gantry portion 30 during ongoing scanning sequence. |
