PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of a level difference of a driving force when downshift is conducted in the vicinity of a dead zone of the driving force to accelerator opening. SOLUTION: A driving force controlling device is provided with a means for setting a target driving force basic value tFB according to vehicle speed VSP and an accelerator pedal operation quantity APO, a target driving force calculation part 311 which determines a target driving force tF by revising the target driving force basic value tFB according to change of shift stages CurGP and NextGP and a shift control judgment part 310 which judges the downshift from the shift stage. When the downshift is judged and the target driving force tF can be realized by the downshift, the target driving force calculation part 311 gradually increases the target driving force tF from the driving force which can be realized by the shift stage before shift change to the target driving force basic value tFB.
