PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rearview mirror for a vehicle not only capable of surely maintaining an engaging state of an operation lever to a bracket at the time of switching the state but of preventing generation of a switching sound and of receiving a desired sense of clicking. SOLUTION: An engaging recess 2e is compositely formed with a bottom part 2c in a complete round shape more than a half-round cross section and an opening part 2d which is opened from the bottom part 2c to the lower end of a bracket 2 in the bracket 2, and an upper end engaging part 5c which is fitted in the bottom part 2c and has a complete round shape cross section is formed in an operation lever 5.
