PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorptive product which prevents an user from feeling a sense of incongruity and pain by letting a heat seal part not to directly touch the user's skin, and a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: The absorptive product is provided with an absorbing body 4 arranged between a back sheet 2 for preventing liquid permeance and a center member on the side where the liquid permeates and touches a body, and absorbs and holds the liquid permeated through a center surface material 8, side surface materials 9, 10 which prevent permeance of the liquid each arranged along the longitudinal direction at both end parts of the center surface material 8, and a three-dimensional gather 6 formed extendibly and contractively in the longitudinal direction by arranging an elastic body in the central part at least in the longitudinal direction of the side surface materials 9, 10 formed by heat- sealing in the longitudinal direction after folding in the center surface material 8 or the side surface materials 9, 10 to prevent liquid permeance. At least both end parts in the longitudinal direction of the three-dimensional gather 6 is folded in the short-hand direction and covers a heat seal part 25.
