PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device and an image forming apparatus with sheet feeding device, which prevents impact noise generated from collision of a guiding passage and sheets, which are loaded on a plurality of sheet feeding means, of which front ends are fed to a sheet carrier means for carrying the sheets after temporally stopping the advance of the ends. SOLUTION: The sheet feeding device comprises: a sheet carrier means 1 for carrying a sheet after temporally stopping the advance of the front end of the sheet; a first guiding passage 2 for guiding a sheet P fed to the sheet carrier means 1; a first sheet feeding means 3 for feeding a sheet P1 loaded on the first guiding passage 2; a second sheet feeding means 4 that is additionally disposed to the first sheet feeding means 3 and feeds another loaded sheet P2; a second guiding passage 5 for guiding the sheet P2 fed from the second sheet feeding means 4 to the first guiding passage 2; and a movable guiding means 6 that allows the second guiding passage 5 to move in the first sheet feeding means 3.
