PURPOSE: A lid of a container is provided to improve portability of the container through a handle formed thereon, and to allow the user to conveniently confirm the content of the container by opening only auxiliary lid without separating the lid. CONSTITUTION: The lid is configured to be fastened around the mouth portion of a container, and is formed with a handle(30) at the central portion thereof. The lid comprises a body(10) formed with an opening(14) at the top surface thereof, and an auxiliary lid(20) formed at one side thereof with a holding portion(23). The auxiliary lid is coupled to the body through a hinge portion(24) so that it opens and closes the opening of the body without the interference of the handle.
