<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head which increases its driving distance of a golf ball and improving a hit sound and a bit feeling, making a comfortable sound at impact. SOLUTION: A board shape hit sound buffer materials 4 are installed in the inside of a sole back face part 3 of a golf club head 1. The hit sound buffer materials 4 shape like a board of almost rectangular shape in one edge and a curving shape similar to the curve of a sidewall 3B in another edge contacting with the sidewall 3B. The hit sound buffer materials 4 are arranged on the extension line X of driving direction of the head body 1A and on the line of plus and minus 90 degree of the driving direction. The hit sound buffer materials are bonded with the inside of the sole back face by welding, or the like, while being out of contact with a face part 2 and a crown part 5 with keeping a space.</p> |
