PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide HAPOI67 polypeptide and polynucleotide, a method for producing HAPOI67 polypeptide by the recombination method, and uses of them for the treatment of diseases and for the diagnostic assay. SOLUTION: A polynucleotide containing a nucleotide sequence that is homologous to the nucleotide sequence encoding HAPOI67 polypeptide shown by sequence 2 (see Specification) at 80% or more in the whole length and encodes a polypeptide having an activity of HAPOI67 polypeptide or a polynucleotide sequence complementary to the nucleotide sequence is provided.
