PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of taking advantage of high efficiency of icing improved by edge efficiency, while controlling of a block toppling and promoting the sipe density. SOLUTION: On pneumatic tire equipped with a tread pattern having plural block 1 forming a plural main sipe 10 where a shape of a cross section is like a wave or zigzag, this is characterized by that an assistant sipe 11 separated from a main sipe 10 is placed at about a middle of the adjacent main sipe 10, and a distance W1 between the both sides of the assistant sipe 11 is 5-30% of a distance W2 between the both sides of the adjacent main sipe 10.
