SHELL FLOWER-CONTAINING WASTE PAPER BOARD AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiberboard (shell flower-containing waste paper board) having a desired fundamental characteristics regarding a mechanical strength and the like and having a mothproofing function and a mildewproofing function with a high added value with waste paper as a main raw material and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the shell flower-containing waste paper board comprises the steps of laying resin-impregnated sheets on both main surfaces of a composite layer-like molding obtained by arranging front layers each formed in a layer state by adding a binder to a shell flower fibrillated fiber obtained by fibrillating a stem of a shell flower, on both surfaces of a core layer molded in a layer state by adding an isocyanate adhesive to a waste paper fibrillated fiber, then simultaneously and integrally hot pressing the molding and the resin-impregnated sheets to mold the molding and the sheets in a board-like state.
