PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmoscopic instrument enabling a subject to easily perform alignment even in the absence of an inspector. SOLUTION: The ophthalmoscopic instrument is equipped with an ophthalmoscopic unit 16L (16R) capable of calculating the refractive power of an eye to be examined and the ophthalmoscopic unit 16L (16R) has an image pickup optical system 30L (30R) for photographing the anterior part of the eye to be examined and a liquid crystal display device 53 (53) capable of displaying the fixation point allowing the eye to be examined to confirm visually. The liquid crystal display device 53 displays the image photographed by the CCD 46 (46) of a photographing optical system 30L (30R) for the purpose of alignment to allow the eye to be examined to visually confirm the image. |
