ZIPPER PREPARATION METHOD FOR USE IN RE-CLOSABLE GUSSET BAG

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means and a method for releasing the end part of a zipper segment in the manufacturing process of a bag with a re-closable gusset. SOLUTION: The segment of a zipper profile is separated, and then the profile at a central part of the segment is reconnected while the profile at the short part of the segment is kept being separated. The segment is transferred, and a web is laid down in the horizontal direction in relation to the moving direction of the bag film web to be attached to the web. The web is formed at a re-closable bag having the gusset part of a web side wall to be sewed between separated profiles.
