PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pinch-opening tool for a hanger which closes pinches of the hanger to put clothes on the hanger or opens the pinches to remove the clothes from the hanger and which can be easily located so as to open or lose the pinch, thereby preventing the pinch from being broken so that work efficiencies can be improved. SOLUTION: This pinch-opening tool 1 for a hanger has an opening body 2, a support 4, and a stand 3. An opening plate 5 is attached to the front side of the body 2 through a pivot 9. An air cylinder 10 is attached to a cylinder mounting part 6 of the plate 5. The plate 5 is moved by the cylinder 10 in the directions as indicated by arrows A and B. When the plate 5 is moved in the direction as indicated by arrow A, since the plate 5 is pivotally mounted on the axis 9, the forward ends 7 of the plate 5 are moved so as to make contact with a support plate 12.
