PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which is simple-structured but can be adjusted for depth and angle of backrest at the same time. SOLUTION: The chair 1 comprises a seat section 3, a pair of armrest members 10 which are installed on the seat section 3 via columns 8 and 9 and are extended in the back and forth direction, a backrest 4 supported between the armrest members 10, installation holes formed in the armrest members and the backrest 4, and installation screws to be inserted and screwed into the installation holes to fix the backrest 4 to the armrest members 10. The backrest 4 is provided with one first installation hole and a group of second installation holes 34 formed in a circular arc around the first installation hole, and the armrest members 10 are provided with a plurality of third installation holes 13 which are formed in series in the back and forth direction and can be aligned with the first installation holes, and a plurality of fourth installation holes 14 which are formed in series in the back and forth direction and can be aligned with the group of second installation holes 34.
