PURPOSE: A device for rotating a mouth ring of a refining furnace is provided to prevent early wear or local damage of the mouth ring by uniformly distributing locally applied damages of the mouth ring on all over the mouth ring. CONSTITUTION: In a refining furnace comprising a lower cone, an upper cone(12) and lugs for tilting the refining furnace, the device for rotating a mouth ring of the refining furnace comprises a mouth ring(20) which is a looped member put on a flange(14) formed on an entrance of the upper cone(12), along the inner upper surface of which driving rolls(21) closely adhered onto the upper surface of the flange are continuously arranged, and on the lower outer surface of which a looped lower ring(22) installed toward the bottom of the flange(14) is installed, wherein driving rolls(23) closely adhered onto the bottom of the flange(14) are continuously arranged on the inner surface of the lower ring(22) so that the driving rolls(23) are rotated for the flange; and a mouth ring rotation part comprising sawteeth(30) which are installed along the inner upper part of the mouth ring(20), a latch member which is coupled to a rotation shaft installed at the upper cone(12) parallelly to a rotation shaft line of the refining furnace, and which is in gear with the sawteeth(30) by penetrating the flange(14), and a weight which is fixed to the front of the rotation shaft and positioned at the lower part of the latch member around the rotation shaft so as to rotate the latch member during tilting of the refining furnace.
