PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a printing time by eliminating waste of ultraviolet ray. SOLUTION: Color heat-sensitive recording paper 12 comprises a cyan heat- sensitive color developing layer 42, a magenta heat-sensitive color developing layer 43, a yellow heat-sensitive color developing layer 44 and a protective layer sequentially provided on a support 41. The paper 12 further comprises a fluorescent substance layer 46 for converging the ultraviolet ray having a wavelength of 254 nm into the ultraviolet ray having a wavelength of 365 nm and provided between the layer 42 of the lowermost layer and the support 41. The ray having 254 nm irradiating from a fluorescent lamp for a magenta sequentially passes through the layer 44 and the layer 43 and is incident to the layer 46. The layer 46 converts the ray having 254 nm to the ray having 365 nm and then irradiates the ray toward the layer 43 to optically fix the layer 43.
