DEVICE FOR CONNECTING THERMOCOUPLE FOR MEASURING TEMPERATURE OF REHEATING FURNACE TO OUTSIDE FURNACE

PURPOSE: A connecting apparatus with outer of a furnace is provided to previously prevent a damage of a sheath thermocouple wires and to prolong a using time by installing an extra connection apparatus connected with the sheath thermocouple. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for connecting a sheath thermocouple(60) to an outer portion of a heating furnace comprises an outer pipe(40) connected parallel with one side of a supporting panel(46) vertically fixed on an ingot plate(30) installed with an ingot(32) for moving the ingot(32) as a transferring apparatus, an inner pipe(50) penetrated with wires(62) of the sheath thermocouple(60) in an insulating powder filled into an inserting hole(50a) formed in the inner portions of the outer pipe(40), thereby reducing damaged sheath thermocouple wires.
