<p>The cosmetic use of ethoxyquine (6-ethoxy-2,2,4-trimethyl-1H-quinoline) (I) and its mixtures for preventing and/or restricting and/or stopping the development of whitening/greying of the hair. Independent claims are also included for (1) cosmetic compositions comprising a cosmetically acceptable medium containing (I) and another active ingredient selected from anti-desquamative agents for the scalp and/or vegetable extracts with propigmentant action (2) cosmetic compositions comprising a cosmetically acceptable nedium containing (I) and an agent which retards hair loss and/or promotes regrowth (3) a method for the cosmetic treatment of greying of the hair by the oral administration of compositions containing (I) or by their topical application to the area to be treated .</p> |
