FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises producing reactive species on the surface of material to be alloyed, applying at least one layer of alloying addition onto material surface by atomic layer deposition (ALD-method) and additional processing of material coated by alloying addition to produce new properties of alloyed material. Material to be alloyed represents glass, ceramics, polymers or composite material made thereof.
